The scheduled April 9th release of "State of Heartbreak" has been delayed indefinitely as we deal with the COVID-19 pandemic. The album will still be up for pre-order on the official website, but will not be available until after this national emergency has been dealt with. An early Summer release is most likely based on current information from the United States government. All tour dates through July have also been canceled. Stay tuned to our Facebook page for information!
The first single from Joey Allcorn's new album, "State of Heartbreak," will be released on Thursday, March 12th to all streaming services. The track will also be available for download here on the official website as well as CDBaby, Amazon, etc. The full album will be available later in the month with Alabama Chain Gang Fan Club members receiving their copy two weeks before it's official street date. This is the first new album from Joey Allcorn in over five years and if "State of Heartbreak" is any indication of what the rest of the album sounds like, fans are in store for a heavy dose of hardcore honky tonk with this long awaited album!
The February Patreon exclusive audio track will be a band demo we did at a small studio in Memphis, Tennessee way back in 2007 of the Jimmie Rodgers song “Blue Yodel No. 09 (Standing on the Corner).” This session was recorded with my live band and consisted of songs that were in the running to be on “All Alone Again” but this was one that ultimately didn’t make it onto the record. Maybe someday! This track will be available for Patreon members next week!
Joey Allcorn will be appearing at the Byrd's Creek Music Festival on Friday, July 10, 2020. This three day music festival will be held on a beautiful 240 acre family farm known as Oaklawn Farms. The site is conveniently located along interstate 40 atop the picturesque Cumberland Plateau near Crossville, Tennessee. The farm is a breathtaking combination of rolling meadows under a canopy of 100+ year old oak trees. Camping is available for this festival and we are a family friendly venue (kids 10 years old and under aren't required to purchase a ticket). There will be a wide variety of music such as Folk, Americana, Rock, and Bluegrass. Tickets for this festival will be limited to 600 so don't wait to get yours! We hope to see you at the farm!
